A self-paced training course was designed to educate new employees on best practices for sod installation. The module increases onboarding efficiency and sets a standard for service quality, reflecting a forward-thinking approach to workforce training. I storyboarded the entire elearning, keeping the focus on a proper installation of sod according the companies outlined process. I included a customer based scenario activity that allows the participant to practice their first sod install with a selected landscaper.

Summary: Rodriguez Lawn and Landscape is a local small business that provides lawn care services. The goal was to establish his brand and promote services. He also wanted promotional videos and task sheets for himself and his future employees. This company did not have any formal training program in place. My starting point was meeting with business to conduct a needs analysis and identify the need.
During the needs analysis, I was able to uncover a need that the business could benefit from. We landed on deliverables that included: company branded logo, business cards, flyers, promotional video, sod installation instructional video, and job site task sheet to use that highlights step by step tasks to complete while on each job site.
My cadence was: business cards with new logo, flyers, job task sheet, promotional video, and sod installation instructional video.
My client was part of the logo making process. I wanted to capture the colors scheme and theme that he wanted to stick to. For the promotional video and the lawn care instructional video I was allowed creative freedom.
